My name's Dave and I'm the owner and founder of Pure Tech Audio Visual. From our very first job right through to today, I've always had a genuine passion for working in the events industry. I began investing in equipment at the age of 15, using money I earnt promoting events. I've always believed that investing in the best equipment and ensuring every single event runs as smoothly as possible, is far more important than making a quick profit.
I am lucky to work with an incredible team who also share my passion and energy for working on events and take pride in their professional, friendly and approachable attitude as well as their hard working demeanor.
It is so important to me that every client we work with, gets the absolute best service from my company. I am proud to have worked with many clients from day one and continue to offer them the same level of service we offered them back then.
I've worked on hundreds of live and corporate events, weddings and festivals over the past 16 years. My favourite place to be is behind the sound desk mixing a live reggae or dub band at a festival. These days however, most of my time is allocated to production managinging events & festivals, which includes site power management & site lighting.
16 years in the industry has also given me a lot of experience in lighting design, rigging & stage management.
My name is Gethin and I grew up around music. From an early age I was in and out of theatres with my parents, who are musicians. I was always intrigued by the technical and production side of events as well as being a big fan of all the different genres of music. I get particularly excited when mixing reggae bands.
Over the past 15 years I have mixed hundreds of bands and have worked with many big names from all over the world. I have a lot of experience working in live and corporate events and am adept in all aspects of event production including sound, lighting, AV, rigging and more.
Hi, my name is Dan. I am a fluent Welsh and English speaker with Welsh being my first Language. As a youngster I remember going to theatre shows and being more interested at the musicians playing in the pit and how the whole show ran behind the scenes.
Since then I have worked with many different theatre companies, amateur and professional, to gain knowledge and experience in the industry. I have a big passion for music in general and have a very open mind when it comes to hearing new music.
I am a freelance FOH and monitor engineer with lots of experience as system tech, working mainly with d&b audiotechnik and L-Acoustic speaker systems. I have worked on hundreds of events all over the World with recent highlights including monitor engineer for West Holts stage at Glastonbury Festival 2022 and FOH engineer for Radio 1Xtra stage at Reading Festival in 2022.
I've had the pleasure of working with high quality artists such as Heather Smalls, Berlinda Carlisle, Katrina, Sugar Hill Gang, Nubian Twist, Greentea Peng and Sleaford Mods.
Greetings ladies and gents. I live for music; I absolutely love the stuff. My first job was resident singer / guitarist in a local pub before building my own studio. I compose for film makers, mix rock albums and edit academic podcasts in order to subsidise my own audio experiments. I branched out into live and corporate sound engineering in 2010 and have fallen head over heels. My perfect night out is mixing FOH for rock and metal bands.
I’ve worked with hundreds of great musicians in many fantastic venues. Regular work includes mixing in The Queens Hall (Narberth), The Moon and Clwb Ifor (Cardiff) and running the tech at The Brewhouse (Cardiff). Clients have included Nick Oliveri (KYUSS, Queens of the Stone Age) James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers) and Andy Cairns (Therapy?).
